“Meeting death with love and appreciating its purpose is a service to the living, the dying and the dead” Sarah Kerr, Centre for Sacred Deathcare

Everyone who has an interest in, or curiosity about, our work is welcome to join our Network. You do not need to be working with people who are dying. Our Network currently includes carers, funeral celebrants, nurses, mortuary managers, death doulas, mums, hospice volunteers, interested people, midwives, bereavement officers, artists, counsellors, clergy…

Our aim is to hold Network Gatherings every year where members can share knowledge and support each others’ work and vision. Upcoming events are advertised on this website, our facebook page and in network email newsletters.

To join the network and receive occasional newsletters and details of events please subscribe to our mailing list at the bottom of the page. Check our facebook page too.

We are currently looking for ways to network, especially with celebrants and end of life companions, and to let local people know who is available in their area.

Do the lights go out when someone dies? Are you in the dark about what to do when a person takes their last breath? This life-affirming guide encourages and enables you to explore the options for everyone involved.

It is currently available in paperback and eBook format. It is also available as a pdf by donation from admin@pushingupthedaisies.org.uk.
