Ways to Support Us

Your support means a great deal to us, in whatever way feels right for you. Some people support us through their enthusiasm and encouragement, while others offer their time or make a financial contribution.

Pushing Up the Daisies is run by a voluntary Board of Trustees and a small team of volunteers. We are very thankful for their care and commitment. Like all charities, we have essential costs, such as insurance, promotion, travel, and training. We need around £1,150 each year just to cover these basic running costs.

We offer our advice to the public free of charge, and we rely on donations and fundraising to keep our work going.

Become a Member

Having a membership helps the charity show that people support our work. There is no cost for being a member.

sittingroom Sessions

Arrange a get-together of friends and neighbours. You provide the cake and we provide the information.

Contribute Some Time

There are many ways to contribute some time. Spread the word locally or become a link in our Daisy Chain?

Financial Contribution

All donations are very welcome and help us continue our work. Every contribution goes directly towards running the charity.

Thank you for helping to cover the essential costs of our charity. Your donations help us keep our work going for people in Scotland and beyond.

If you pay tax in the UK, please think about filling in a Gift Aid form. This lets us claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give, and it doesn’t cost you anything extra.
Please email the completed form to admin@pushingupthedaisies.org.uk

Pushing Up the Daisies is a Scottish charity run by a volunteer Board of Trustees.

Thank you for thinking about becoming a member of Pushing Up the Daisies. Being a member does not cost anything and you don’t have to make any commitments. As a member, you can vote at meetings, choose Trustees, and even stand to be a Trustee yourself. All members are welcome to share ideas, offer support, and get involved in our activities.

Having members is very helpful because it shows that people in the community support our work.

Sitting room Sessions are small meet‑ups where people gather in a comfy space to learn about what choices they have when someone dies. Someone usually makes tea and cake, and one of our volunteers leads the session. They use a quiz, short videos and discussion to help everyone learn. There is often lots of chatting and laughter. Sometimes the event takes place over a simple soup lunch.

P.S. Any cosy space with room for 6–8 chairs works really well.

Pushing Up The Daisies is run by a voluntary Board of Trustees and a group of volunteers. We would be delighted to have your help.

Anything you can do to help people find out about us is very welcome. We can send you flyers to put on noticeboards in your local area.

If you would like to do this or discuss how you can contribute your time, either one-off or regularly then please contact admin@pushingupthedaisies.org.uk
