Ways to Support Us

Your support would be very much appreciated, in whatever way is right for you. Some people support us with their enthusiasm, others by contributing some of their time or finances.

Pushing Up The Daisies is run by a voluntary Board of Trustees and a small group of volunteers. We are very grateful for their dedication. We do also have many costs to cover e.g. insurance, promotion, travel expenses, training. We currently need approximately £715 each year just to pay for the essentials to keep the charity running. We provide our advice to the public free of charge and rely on donations and fundraising to fund the running of the charity.

Financial Contribution

All contributions to further our work are gratefully received. All money received goes directly to the running of the charity.

Pushing Up the Daisies is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation run by a voluntary Board of Trustees.

Thank you for considering becoming a member of Pushing Up the Daisies. Membership makes no financial or other obligation on you. Members are entitled to vote at member’s meetings, elect and be elected as Trustees. All members are welcome to comment on, support and get involved in our activities. Having a membership is helpful for the charity to show it has public support.

Round the Kitchen Table events are a chance for small groups of people to get together informally in a comfortable space to learn about the options when someone dies. Someone provides the tea and cake and one of our volunteers comes to lead the session with a quiz, videos and leaflets. There is usually much discussion and laughter.  Sometimes they are held around a soup  lunch.

P.S. you don’t need a kitchen table. Any comfortable space to fit chairs for 6-8 people is ideal.
