Recent Event in Glasgow Big Succcess

What a powerful day Saturday was at Finn’s Place ! We were so touched by the incredible energy, curiosity and how everyone fully showed up at our first Tending to Death gathering.
25 people in the room. And all participants generously gave so much. I was in awe of the open honesty, the pooling of our stories and the rich and eye-opening conversations on what is possible in terms of tending to people after they have died.
What an honour it was to hear your own stories, and to answer each other questions on what practical rights and options we have post death and to begin to create a vision of how we can tend to each other post death in different ways.
We can’t wait to have more conversations with all you wonderful humans in the Glasgow area. There is a large appetite to keep connecting – and as many of you said, build community death work in Glasgow.
Thank you to the To Absent Friends Festival for help with funding the event and to Jen at Finn’s Place for everything you did on Saturday too!
We are buzzing xxx
