Legal Heirarchy of who has the authority to arrange a funeral if you have not named someone to do it. There is no legal format – you only need to name the person and sign – and make sure people close to you know you have done this and where it is stored. We have created this example form to record Arrangements on Death Declaration you could use if you like forms. Alternatively you can name the person in a Will perhaps.
Hopefully this research will help you look after yourself and also possibly take care of others who are not able to speak up for themselves in the moment.
