For the few days between death and burial or cremation, people have the option to care for their deceased loved one’s body themselves. This tender act can aid in grieving, bring a sense of fulfillment, and help families, including children, to meet death as something normal and natural.
Learn the potential benefits and practicalities of caring for a body at home after death.

Participants are welcome to stay for a network meeting in the afternoon, to share experiences and insights for the future of care at home after death in Scotland and the direction of Pushing Up The Daisies.
Roseisle Village Hall is in the village of College of Roseisle, Elgin IV30 5YF. The nearest railway stations are Elgin (6 miles) and Forres (8 miles). There is a bus (Stagecoach no 31) from Elgin or Forres. Hotel/ B&B Accommodation is available in Elgin, Forres or Findhorn.
